Water and Sewer Pipefitters Job#JCL082
JCL Investments is currently accepting applications for Water and Sewer Pipefitters. These positions will be based in Corner Brook, NL.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, repair, and maintain water and sewer pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform pressure tests to ensure the integrity of pipe systems.
• Locate and repair leaks and other issues in water and sewer lines.
• Excavate trenches and install pipes at the required grade and depth.
• Use hand and power tools to cut, thread, and join pipes.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a pipefitter or similar role installing water and sewer systems.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
• Any required training such as WHMIS, Confined Space, Trenching and Excavation, etc. will be provided.
