We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality projects that exceed our clients' expectations. We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our dynamic team as a Construction Surveyor. This is a project-based position located at St. Anthony Airport located on the Northern Peninsula, NL. The current rotation for this project is 10 days on and 4 days off.
Responsibilities
• Complete survey projects, such as establishing localized control, topographic surveys, non-legal boundary surveys, quality assurance as-builts, quantities and volumes, construction layout and return, and field grading stakeouts.
• Create and manage field survey files.
• Operate GPS equipment (Experience with Topcon is considered an asset) on civil / heavy industrial jobsites.
• Perform topographic surveys to determine volume quantities for progress billing.
• Verify existing and set new survey control as required.
• Calculate given elevations/measurements from drawings and perform layout.
Qualifications
• A relevant technical diploma
• Experience in construction surveying an asset
• Experience with GPS Machine Control an asset
• Proficient with GPS & Total Stations
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Familiar with Civil construction plans. Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the construction and drafting/survey industry.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driver’s abstract.
