MTV (Material Transfer Vehicle) Operator

JCL Investments is a leading provider in the construction and infrastructure industry, committed to delivering high-quality projects and services. We are looking for a skilled and dedicated MTV Operator to join our team and help us maintain our reputation for excellence.
As an MTV Operator, you will be responsible for operating the shuttle buggy to ensure efficient and continuous supply of asphalt material to the paver. Your role is crucial in maintaining the quality and consistency of the pavement surface. You will work closely with the paving crew and other equipment operators to ensure smooth operations on the construction site.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate the shuttle buggy to transport and transfer asphalt from the truck to the paver.
• Ensure continuous and consistent flow of material to the paver to avoid stoppages.
• Monitor and maintain the shuttle buggy to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on the shuttle buggy.
• Communicate effectively with the paving crew and other equipment operators.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
• Valid driver’s license with Class 8 endorsement.
• Previous experience operating a shuttle buggy or similar equipment in a construction environment.
• Strong understanding of asphalt paving processes and materials.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
