We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality projects that exceed our clients' expectations. We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Survey Manager. This is a project-based position located at Valentine Gold Mine in central NL. The current rotation for this project is 14 days on and 14days off.

Responsibilities
• Operate GPS survey equipment, total stations, and other survey equipment for construction layout and record of measurement.
• Carry out a variety of project CAD design and field survey activities including topographic surveys and field layout.
• Compare as-built data vs design data to identify quantity, grade, or location discrepancies.
• Interpret and reconcile as-built quantities for monthly progress reports/ payments.
• Manage survey equipment for the project including tracking, equipment calibration, repairs, etc.
• Manage quality control documentation.
• Coach surveyors in the field ensuring they have necessary resources to be successful on their project scopes.
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced work environment.
• Consistently ensure that safety, quality, and environmental standards are being followed and maintained through each phase of construction
Qualifications
• Diploma or degree in Geomatics, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in surveying, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role on heavy civil projects.
• Proficient in survey software and equipment (e.g. Trimble, AutoCad Civil 3D)
• Strong knowledge of construction layout, control networks, and topographic surveys.
• Excellent organization and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in remote site conditions and adapt to a rotational work schedule.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driver’s abstract.
